AAC (Argumentative Alternative Communication) is to aid non-verbal children and adults with communication issues and promote their development of language and communication skills. Mogul AAC, which is sophisticatedly designed by professionals in language learning, child development, and expressive therapies, is consistent with language learning principles and contains features important in developing automaticity and language.
Mogul ACC is a hyper-customized AAC with 6 built-in functions. It is designed to support each individual’s communicational characteristics and needs. Mogul AAC enables personal choice of words and contains features utilizing technical supports like the GPS, the widget, and the camera the device. More, Mogul’s symbol system is inspired by the Picture Exchange Communication (PECS).
Mogul ACC’s goal is not only help delivering messages and enhancing communication efficiency, but also assist learning of language and stimulating brain activity with visual supports. The 6 special functions of Mogul ACC carefully considered individual’s differences in development to promote situational and prompt use of language. Mogul AAC respects individual’s strength and ability regardless developmental differences and cultural background.
Mogul AAC is a structured system to increase the level of functioning in a complex communication and to bring up potentiality of individuals who needs extra supports. The innovative functions of Mogul AAC allow users, parents, teachers and therapists to quickly build the personalized AAC. Currently, it is available in English and Korean, including regional and bilingual support. More, it is used by children and adult of Autism Spectrum in both high and low functioning, down syndromes, cerebral palsy and other diagnoses.

Function 1: Main
Its user-oriented system has basic 45 categories with 1000+ basic core vocabularies. Users can create limitless personalized words and categories using the camera function of the device. The restructuring of categories and words are possible with fingertip. It also has locking/unlocking placement options.

Function 2. History
Created sentences from the main function are automatically saved here. They can be moved to “Plus” (Function 4) and organized according to the preference of users.

Function 3. Guide
The automatically saved sentences are provided as guiding sentences in previously visited locations which users used or made the sentences at or around with the help of the GPS of the device.

Function 4. Plus
The Plus function provides a customized arrangement service by enabling fast and convenient search and reuse of the saved sentences. It supports the situational use of the language and communication without requiring users to understand and make syntaxes. This function allows users to set-up and designate saving options manually.

Function 5. Widget
All sentences created by users are saved at “History” (Function 2). These sentences can be extracted and saved on the widget on the home screen of the device so that users can directly use them in communication without cumbersome steps for finding and starting the Mogul AAC application and searching for the desired function/category. This very special feature of the Mogul AAC minimalizes the response time in communication and develop timely expression and response of users.

Function 6. Mogul Basket
This is a personalized words storing/categorizing feature that allows users to create own categories for language learning and education.

Other Functions
Easy mode: Users may switch to this mode for the minimized and simple interface and the widget (“function 5”) that utilize an 8-tile interface (each word or sentence being displayed in each tile) for more focused and intensive learning of language.
